Use a heating system, a humidifier, a dehumidifier or an air conditioner to maintain
an acceptable relative humidity level(35%-55% at all time) for Nature Zone wood floors.

Protecting your Nature Zone hardwood finish from scratches and moisture involves sweeping and vacuuming to eliminate dirt and grit regularly.

Always use recommended manufacturer's or generic cleaning product available at your local retail wood flooring store.(Never spray it directly on the floor, spray it on a terry cloth mop.)

Wipe up all spills immediately with a lightly dampened cloth, then follow up with the recommended cleaner.Tough spots, heel marks or greasy and sticky stains can be removed by scrubbing.The area with a sponge or a damp cloth sprayed with the cleaner.

The use of doormats outside each entrnace of your home and of rugs inside will help prevent sand, water or grit accumulating on your floor. Place rug nearby you kitchen sink and dishwashing machine to protect from detergent and water.

Install under all your furniture, narrow casters and chair legs some floor protectors (felt pads) to prevent scratches, scarring and dents. The surface finish can also be damaged by the metal tips of worn high heels.

Check with your local hardwood dealer for touch-up kits in case of scratches or other damages.
